Icarus hosting
Icarus prospects,
on a server that's always there.
An Icarus dedicated server your group can drop into whenever it suits, with your prospects and outposts saved on the server instead of one person's PC.
What you get
Saved on exit
The server always saves when it stops, so a restart never costs you progress. Autosave timing is yours to set.
Every setting, explained
Server and gameplay settings — including resource respawn — as fields with a note on what each does. Passwords are generated for you.
Full file access
SFTP access to every file on your server: edit configs, upload mods, download your saves whenever you like.
A console that remembers
A live console in the browser. Leave and come back and everything since the server started is still there.
Reserved memory
The memory you pay for is held for your server alone, so a long prospect doesn't stutter late in the session.
Updates when you say
Game updates install when you restart, not in the middle of a drop.
How much do I need?
Icarus is session-based: memory depends on how much of the map is in play and how big your outposts get, more than on player count.
| Group | Memory | CPU | Disk included | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small group, early prospects | 6 GiB | 2 shared cores | 45 GB | $18.50 |
| Recommended for most groups | 8 GiB | 2 shared cores | 60 GB | $22.50 |
| Full group, big outposts | 12 GiB | 3 shared cores | 90 GB | $33.75 |
